① JR Narita Express Ticket Counter on B1F

Narita Express or N’EX operates from Terminal 1 and 2. For those arriving Terminal 3, please go to Terminal 2. (3 min by terminal shuttle bus or 15 min walk)

All the Narita Express goes to Tokyo in 53 min. Most of them are decoupled at Tokyo Station and car no. 1-6 go toward Yokohama. Car no. 7-12 go to Shinagawa, Shibuya and Shinjuku. If you bought ticket to Shinjuku or Yokohama, they will assign your seat according to the destination. (Narita Express is all reserved seat train.)

Seats are spacious and there are luggage storage in the car. Green Car (1st Class) is also availble for more comforts.

② KEISEI LINES

KEISEI is a private rail company. Ticket Counter is on B1F

There are 3 choices-Skyliner is fastest(¥2,580), then Access Express (¥1,240) and Main Line Rapid Limited Express is the slowest (¥1,030)

Station numbers for Terminal 1 Station for Keisei Skyliner is KS42, Terminal 2 Station is KS41, Nippori Station is KS02 and Ueno Station is KS01. KEISEI lines operates from Terminal 1 and 2. For those arriving Terminal 3, please go to Terminal 2. (3 min by terminal shuttle bus or 15 min walk)

  1. KEISEI Skyliner Skyliner Overview|Skyliner | KEISEI Electric Railway Skyliner ¥2,580 to Nippori or Ueno. Easiest and Fastest of the 3 and seats are more comfortable and the luggage space is large. If you are transfering to JR Yamanote Line or JR Keihin tohoku line, getting off at Nippori is easier than Ueno. If your hotel is closer to the central Tokyo (like Tokyo or Ginza) and take taxi from the station or take Subway Ginza Line or Hibiya Line, Ueno is better. You need to buy ticket with seat reservation.
  2. KEISEI Access Express Access Express Route Map | Skyliner | KEISEI Electric Railway Less expensive than Skyliner but it takes longer. Some trains, instead of going to Nippori/Ueno, go directly to Asakusa, Nihonbashi, Shinbashi, Shinagawa and Haneda Airport. You can use Mobile Suica, IC Card or buy ticket at vending machine. Better to avoid rush hours if you have large luggage.
  3. KEISEI Main Line Rapid Limited Express Rapid Limited Express・Limited Express Route Map | Skyliner | KEISEI Electric Railway The cheapest of the 3. You may need to transfer trains in some cases. Also, this one is commuter train, so avoid rush hours if you have large luggages. You can change at Aoto Station (KS09) to Asakusa, Nihonbashi, Shinbashi, Shinagawa area. You can use Mobile Suica, IC Card or buy ticket at vending machine.

③ Limousine Bus Ticket Counter on 1F (Arrival Lobby)

In the arrival lobby, you will find bus ticket counter. If you are staying at the destinated hotel, this is the easiest option. However, compared with Skyliner and N’EX, Buses are infrequent in most cases. Shinjuku and Tokyo City Air Terminal(T-CAT) has more busses operated. Some desitnation such as Asakusa there are only 3 buses a day. Please check the timetable below

④ Low Cost Bus

There are some Low Cost Bus (LCB) LCB(low-cost bus) | Access Information | NARITA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (narita-airport.jp)

The most convenient one is the one going to Tokyo/Ginza. TYO-NRT【official】│Airport Bus Tokyo / Narita

From Narita Airport, there are a fixed number of seats on those buses, so please buy tickets for a specific bus at the ticket counter in arrival lobby in each terminals. The bus is free seating.

*For buses departing from Narita Airport Terminal 3 from 7:30 to 22:45, please purchase a designated ticket at the ticket counter. For buses departing at other times, please go directly to the bus stop and pay the fare with cash or a transportation IC card when boarding.

⑤ Taxis

Most expensive but easy if you have large luggage or travelling with children or seniors.

For fixed-rate taxis, The fare is fixed depending on zone (A-F in the map below.check the fare Taxi | NARITA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (narita-airport.jp) ) There are taxi stands just outside the arrival lobby. For Terminal 1, Taxis are available at Taxi Stand 15. Termknal 2, taxis are available at Taxi Stands 30 & 31-A. For Terminal 3, Taxis are available at the taxi stands across the pedestrian deck. *Reservation is not necessary. Go to the taxi stand and ask for ”Fixed Fare Taxi (Airport Taxi)”  You have a choice (via Bayshore Freeway or via Keiyo Road). It will be helpful if you have your hotel name/address at hand for taxi drives often do not speak English.

⑥ Combination

You may use train/bus to city center close to your hotel and use taxi from there. It will be helpful if you have the address of your hotel printed and show it to the driver for many drivers may not speak English. This can be quicker and less expensive.
