If you are from North America, or have lived in North America for some times, you might miss Thanksgiving. Well, I do. I think you miss it more if you are away. I actually went to have Thanksgiving lunch today. (I try to go every year.)
In case you miss Thanksgiving, here are some restaurants and takeaways (mostly in Tokyo but Yokohama and Osaka as well) you can enjoy 🙂
As Thanksgiving is not so popular in Japan, availability is limited. I recommend you reserve your table or takeaway.
The Oak Door
The Oak Door is located in Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi Hills. They serve Thanksgiving dinner from Nov. 28 to 30. On 28th, served in two timeslots: 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and on
29th and 30th served at 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Their traditional Thanksgiving feast include roasted turkey with mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and cranberry jam.
Hard Rock Cafe
Hard Rock Cafe Japan in Roppongi, Ueno and Yokohama (Minato Mirai) have thanksgiving plate. You can order both Lunch and Dinner time from Nov. 23 to Nov. 30. https://hardrockjapan.com/
IVY PLACE
Located in Daikanyama, in the same area as Daikanyama Tsutaya. IVY PLACE has Thanksgiving course menu on Nov. 28. Menu includes: SOUP-Roasted butternut squash cream soup with chorizo chips and pumpkin seeds. APPETIZER-Smoked salmon with quinoa salad, lemon ginger cream and crushed walnuts. MAIN-Roasted turkey breast with mushroom gravy, cornbread stuffing, sweet potatoes, green beans and cranberry relish. Located in Tenozu Isle, T.Y. Harbor is an American style restaurant. They have lunch and dinner on Nov. 28. You can combine this with going to Odaiba area before or after.
